Movie Hint
This is the link to the movie ‘war/dance’ from Uganda .
When you have a good supply of tissues and enough time, it is a very heart warming film to watch. For our purposes for Palm Sunday, the triumphal entry/return to the village is from around 1:38:55 onwards.
[Unfortunately the resolution is not crystal clear, but it is good enough if we want to use it]

Here’s one perspective connecting this movie with this week’s passage:
(Matthew 21:8-9) ’The crowds went ahead and were shouting Hosanna…’ The joy and excitement of the crowd are reflected in this clip from the documentary movie (2007) War/Dance set in Northern Uganda. The children return to their village with the winners’ trophy from a national dance and music competition for schools. All the people run out to celebrate their triumph, waving ‘cloaks and cut branches’. However, after the exhilaration of their success, they inevitably return to the reality of on-going political strife and the atrocities of the war in their country. (LG)

Thank you . It was nice to feel at least some sort of normality even if we can’t be in church as we would normally be at this time. Proves the church is four walls and we can worship without it. Look forward to the day though when we can once again worship with others.
Stay well
Thanks Marg, we are really encouraged by your thoughts, and glad you are still experiencing a sense of worship. Cheers, Gordon
